Helloooo there!! I hope everyone is doing great and shining…and yupp I am still alive and trying to keep up with my short term goals of keeping up with my backlogs on the post front hihi. This is an ‘I express’ post on the products I received in April Birchbox which had more skin care items than makeup which I looooooooooved.. Okay, so let’s quickly get to it..

amika Un. Done Texture Spray. PROS – Amazing scent. It smells like an amazing springy perfume with flowery touch and its like spa on head. Definitely, does not stiffen my hair like any other hair spray and keeps it normal and natural. I adore the packaging. CONS – It does not give that insane volume to my hair as it claims. Also, I did not experience the ‘loads of shine’. There is nothing known as effortless to this one as a little of it would not work and a lot of it would leave your hair really unhealthy the next day. It doesn’t work for my hair texture which is thick and short. It’s a 1/5 for me.

Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm. It’s a bonus product. Yay! All PROS, No CONS. I love it. I love it. I love it. This works exactly as it states. It gives a very natural look with the right amount of tint. Nothing dramatic. I am all Ga Ga about it. The color is a sweet violet which I had never tried in any lip balms and I am glad I got to try it. Beautiful color, lil tinted, natural look, moisturizes well, don’t have to re-apply every 10 minutes. This is all the qualities I need in a lip balm. I give it 5/5.

TOCCA Crema da Mano -Giulietta. I like this brand’s name ‘TOCCA’. I am a big fan of hand creams and this sample is the right size to keep in my bag for daily outings 🙂 It does it’s job well. Keeps my hand smooth and moisturized. There is nothing wrong with it but still it does not have that waaaaow factor for me to order the full size. For me, this product is a 3/5.

VASANTI BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. PROS – The sample size is good enough to last a month since I do not exfoliate daily. Smells good and that’s it. CONS – I consider my skin to be sensitive to chemicals but not baby soft. The exfoliating agents i.e. those small beads that scrubs the skin were so hard on my skin that it actually felt like massaging my face with coarse sand. After effect was also not that great for me. It didn’t clean my face and I could still feel the oil on my skin intact. I had to wash my face again with my daily face wash. So in conclusion, it didn’t work on my skin but might work for others. For me, it’s a 1/5. I am scared to use it again 😀

W3LL PEOPLE Expressionist Mascara. I am a big time Mascara girl. I love eye makeup and the best part of it for me is the lashes. Even on those no makeup days, I definitely do my lashes. That’s my unstoppable feeling for this makeup item and now moving on to the ‘I express’ of this product 😉 PROS – Best part is that its no chemicals or dyes so here is a big YAY. It gives a very natural look to the eyes. It’s wand’s design helps to easily separate the lashes without any stickiness around. Final look is very clean. It is very easy to apply, no clumps and very very easy to remove. CONS – Only drawback with this mascara is that you cannot go very dramatic with it. Even with two coats of the formula, you will still get very naturally looking eyes. So, with it in your mascara drawer, you will definitely need a dramatic mascara for those crazy night outs :D.. I would give this a 4/5.
